Suggest Treatment For Headache Around The Eyes
hello. for about 1 1/2 months now I have been having headache like pain around behind my eyes. but its not my eyes themselves, but behind them. an I am a type one diabetic and the pain is very bad when my blood sugar is 180 or above and I kinda understand that because diabetics have problems with their eyes but its also very bad like when I wake up from a nap or sometimes just randomly. I don t know what to do about it and the only thing that helps is putting an ice pack on my eyes.

It is true that diabetes damages the retina and thus vision, but that is not typically manifested with pain. The description of those symptoms makes a cause such as sinusitis more probable. That would be reinforced if you have nasal discharge and congestion. So I suggest you see your primary physician to be checked for signs of sinusitis which might be helped with antibiotics.
