Suggest Treatment For Headache In The Frontal Area

I have been having headaches since about May. The pain seems to start at the base of my neck and penetrate up to the top or my frontal brain. Sometimes when I cough, laugh, sneeze or exercise it will cause pain in my frontal area. I also have twitches around my left eye. My doctor is sending me to a ENT because I had a severe case of vertigo with vomiting and wants me to be evaluated for meneires disease. This is not the first time I have had this problem. It seems it will torment me for several months then go away just to come back later. I currently know I have cervical spondylosis and degenerative disc disease with bone spurs and my rheumatologist thinks this may be the cause of the headaches.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.

It seems from the history that you are having headache in the frontal region associated with vertigo, vomiting...
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Pain in the frontal region is commonly because of frontal sinusitis and requires ENT examination.
2. The presence of vertigo and vomiting along with headache requires examination by a physician to rule out other problems like migraine.
3. Cervical spondylosis and disc problems usually will not cause pain in the frontal region of the head.

Hence you need to consult your doctor for evaluation and treatment.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
