Suggest Treatment For Headache, Neck Ache, Laryngitis And Dry Cough

I have headache/neck ache, laryngitis that is improving, no fever, no sore throat, not a productive cough, but a dry cough occasionally. I think I got this from someone who had similar symptoms and was on antibiotics but i would prefer no antibiotics because I think it is a virus. Suggestions so I can take care of my Grandchildren and not feel like I will spread this yuk. Thank You so much.

Hi,

Viral infections will not respond to antibiotics and will run their course. Antibiotics help prevent secondary bacterial infections but are not mandatory unless the symptoms persist, such as worsening cough, fever, dry cough turning into a productive cough and so on. Simple hygiene measures and masks to prevent droplet spread of infection will help but some isolation is required in the acute stages.
