Suggest Treatment For Headaches And Dizziness While Having High BP

I had a check of my blood pressure recently and it indicated 170 rather than the 140 which is the accepted range!and I have regular head-aches and some strange quivering feelings in my arms and today I felt dizzy on and off!am 48 yrs of age and female!Can you advise a quick remedy?Thank u

Hi,

Ideally, BP should 130/80 mm hg. A high surge of systolic BP can cause dizziness. Lifestyle modification (aerobic exercise regularly, salt restriction and weight loss, if BMI is high and foods containing high potassium) can lower BP. Otherwise, anti-hypertensive drug (low dose to start with ) will help.
