YES , is it true that unani medicines uses some steroid for the treatment of heart and spinal cord problems as my friend is suffering from heart and some spinal cord problem.we r interested in taking unani treatment.as my freind is 27 year old sportsperson at present he is practicing for national games although doctors told him he is having some problem like some hole in the heart and some gaps have been formed in the spinal cord also.doctors told him he wont be able to survive for more than 2 years.is it possible for him to get complete treatment in unani medicine to get rid of his disease without the use of any steroid during his treatment.

That is also known as congenital heart disease. That is a strict surgical case. I would advice you to visit cardiologist for further treatment. surgical intervention is the only solution in such cases.
Alternative medicine does not exclude chances of surgical procedure where needed.
