My heart does not allow me to walk for up to 15 steps and my both arms does not work. I can not hold a even a small thing in my hand. After 15 steps I must stand up quitely. Then after a minutes and I can walk further. My feets are not swollen. But my heart some time go little big told by doctor. Is there any medicine that could help ?
Hello,i have gone through your question.I need to know which of heart valves is leaking.Because the decision of further action depends on it,i also would like to know your age.however grossly i can tell you that if you are below age of 40 you may need valve replacement. If you are above age of 40 you will need coronary aniography followed by valve replacement with or without grafting. your symptoms are quite significant so you should proceed for early evaluation starting from Echocardiography. As symptomatic relief you may take Tab.Lasix 40 mg once a day daily. i would be glad to guide you further once you furnish details of evaluation, My best wishes, Dr.Teli,MD
