Suggest Treatment For Heartburn And Gallbladder Pain
I had what I thought was severe heartburn fri am. I have had same severe pain 2 other times, almost going to er. Now I am wondering if it is gallbladder pain. I am 56, in pretty good health, eat pretty healthy, overweight. the pain was in middle lower chest. I have prevacid because of one of the episodes. fri took prevacid, tums and gavascon and finally pain went away after several hrs. ? sound like heartburn
Hello I appreciate your concern Looking at your description and relief after medicines you have taken, This could be related to acid reflux; Acid peptic disease or liver and all bladder disease
I see patients with similar complaints in my clinic and after thorough clinical examination I would advise them for a battery of tests like liver function test and an ultrasound or an endoscopy if need be.
In my opinion you should take anti acidity medicines like pantoprazole or omeprazolewith antacids for 10 to 15 days Avoid fatty fried and spicy food try to reduce some weight. Have lots of fresh fruits and vegetables Don't lie down immediately after food avoid overeating
