Suggest Treatment For Heavy Bleeding And Bloating After Implant
Hi I m slightly concerned for two reasons and I m not sure if they re linked or not. I had the implant put in in October and since then I have been constantly bleeding with heavier bleeding regularly when I m due to have a period. I have seen numerous doctor and no one has been able to do anything and for some reason despite having been able to put the implant in no one is qualified to take it out!! In the last week the bleeding has stopped and while this is great I am confused why... I have now also been struggling to eat as I ve lost my appetite over the last week and every time I have a small amount of food I feel bloated and sick and get a stomach ache. Hopefully you will be able to help and shed some light on this... Thanks, Charlotte
Heavy bleeding is unlikely due to implant because implant leads to scanty bleeding or irregular spotting. Bloating, loss of appetite, abdominal distension can be due to implant.
A pelvic ultrasound can be done to confirm the diagnosis and get further treatment accordingly.
