Treatment of hemorrhoids include changes of lifestyle at first and if this does not help you must try some drugs-over-the-counter creams, ointments, suppositories or pads. These products contain ingredients, such as witch hazel or hydrocortisone, that can relieve pain and itching, at least temporarily. The next step is invasive procedures-rubber band, laser coagulation, sclerotherapy. If this does not help too the only option left is surgery-removal of hemorrhoid and hemorrhoid stapling.
