Suggest Treatment For High BP And Acid Reflux

My primary care recently retired or left her practice without proper notification to patients. I currently suffer from severe high blood pressure, digestive problems, acid reflux, and severe pain in lower back (due to shifted disks) and also severe pain in my entire left leg especially ankle and knee due to a very bad fall two years ago that resulted in a broken tibia, fibula, knee, all five toes, ankle, and Achilles heel. I am very concerned about getting my necessary medications and finding a reliable doctor in my area. This is the second doctor that just stopped treating me as well as a lot of others in my area. Also this area has a hospital not too far from me but unfortunately I and very skeptical of them because they had to ship me a little over two hours away when I took the fall. They have also previously misdiagnosed me.

Hi welcome to HCM.
I understand your query and concern.
High blood pressure should me monitored regularly to avoid complications like stroke in the brain.Uncontrolled blood pressure could be related to inadequate drug dosage or non compliance of your Anti hypertensive drug intake.Best treatment for elevated blood pressure is through drugs like beta blockers and Ace inhibitors. Before that adequate management and work up is needed.I advise you to have a baseline 2 dimensional echocardiography,ECG and lipid profile as a part of routine screening of your heart.Restrict the intake of salt to less than 6 g/day.Regular physical exercise in the form of brisk walk for 20 min a day for 5 days a week is pretty useful.Reduce the intake of fatty and fried food. One pomegranate a day will help . Stress management is most vital in your case.Drugs like Tab.Pantop 40 mg once daily before food will treat your acid reflux. So Consult a Cardiologist and Gastro-enterologist for further expert management.
Post your further queries if any.
Thank you
