Suggest Treatment For High BP During Pregnancy

I'm 11 weeks pregnant with my second child. My son was induced 4 weeks early due to high BP. I've had a headache everyday for 5 weeks and my BP is staying around 160/90. My doctors are taking the wait and see approach, but I'm concerned. I eat a low sodium diet, but it isn't helping. Should I push for BP meds?

As you had high BP in the last pregnancy and systolic BP of 160 is an indication for starting treatment. It also depends on wether you had high BP in between the pregnancies as well. If the BP is continously high of regular monitoring you need treatment as well as low dose aspirin will be of some help for you.
