Hello and welcome to healthcare magic
Hypertension is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality and should be taken seriously.
There are 2 aspects of managing hypertension.
1) LIFE STYLE MODIFICATIONS : these include
a, quit smoking
b. limit alcohol consumption
c. aerobic exercises
d. decrese salt intake
e. Eat a healthy, low-fat, balanced diet
f. Drink less coffee, tea or other caffeine-rich drinks such as cola
the more healthy lifestyle u adopt , better are the chances of achieving ideal BP levels
MEDICATIONS :
sir , you history is not sufficient to prescribe you any drug.
i would like to know for how long you are taking these medications , are there any other drugs you taking , do u have any co-morbid condition (like
diabetes ,
kidney disease , coronory
heart disease etc)
Based upon limited information you provided i would like to prescribe you "verapamil" , a
calcium channel blocker.
I hope i was helpful
regards
