     Doctor- I recently had a physical for insurance purposes. My blood work showed everything within normal range except for a SGOT number of 43 which was considered high. I lift weights everyday and do up to 90 minutes o f cardio daily. Please advise

I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern. Your sgot is only slightly high. No need to worry. It may be due to alcohol or drugs. No any treatment is required right now. Just repeat the blood test after a month.
