Hello, Welcome to Health Care Magic. I understand your concern. I am Dr Alok Sinha, MD Psychiatry from India. I will try to help you with best of my effort. You are right, you may have relapse of your illness. As you told, there is a past history of eating disorder at 13 years of age. Any past history makes a person more vulnerable to get the illness again. Obviously eating two to three times at night is not a normal eating behaviour. You are able to maintain weight because of healthy (apparently low calorie) diet, and exercise (as you claim to be very active). The central theme of illness is an impulse (irresistible desire) for binge eating and then trying best not to gain weight. This is very well present in your case. If a person like you comes to me, I usually evaluated him/her in detail for any other co-morbidity and then treat him/her with psychotropic medicines, psychotherapy and behavioural therapy. I suggest you to consult a psychiatrist for the same. I wish you all the best.
