high bilirubin level should be properly investigated if you have associated yellow sclera/skin. are liver enzymes elevated too? are the major causes ruled out, from liver pathology to hemolytic anemias?
therefore, your advised to visit a hepatologist to find a cause of bilirubin and further course of action maybe advised accordingly. blood tests, and radiological examination maybe done to find out a cause ( if any).
hope to answer your concern. wish you good and sound health regards Dr Tayyab Malik
