Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure
Hi. I am 26, female. No medical problems. My blood pressure was measured today at 128/88, which apparently is very high for someone my age. Nobody from my family has high blood pressure. I am medium to slim built, very active and sporty. Can you explain why the high blood pressure?

The reading you gave is not enough for that. I hope u won't need it and we never decide on a single reading. The best thing is either u go for ambulatory home blood pressure monitoring that gives an average reading in a weak.
If not available you can also get your bp checked twice a day for 14 days and then calculate the average of it so that we know better that what is your actual bp. A single reading of 128 and 88 is not bothering at all.
