Suggest Treatment For High Blood Pressure
i am now 52 yrs old diagonised with BP 4 yrs ego and was taking concor 5mg.Recently due to dizziness I went to doctor and found 180/100 and prescribed Telma 40 &ramipiril 2.5 once in a day plus 2nos cocor 5 afernoon and night.Still BP is hovering 150/90.i am also diabetic and take Glycomet 500 once dailly.Pls advice.

I would have treated you like,
Telmisartan 40 mg or if needed 80
Tab amlodipine 5 mg or if needed 10 mg
this will control your bp
tab ramipril and telmisartan better avoided togetherly.
consume low salt diet and keep track of blood pressure. healthy lifestyle and regular exercises
