I am a 54 yr old female, overweight, with slightly elevated blood sugar (110). I have been trying to lose weight as my dr told me my blood sugar could correct itself, but l am waking frequently at night to urinate and to drink water -- is there anything I can do to reduce this? It is exhausting!
I treat many people with your kind of problem. You are in the pre-diabetes stage. You have Insulin Resistance which is the cause of elevated blood sugar. Eating less carbs especially simple carbs and exercising more will help you reduce the blood sugar as well as weight. Another way to reduce Insulin resitance is to take Metformin which will help you control your bood sugar and weight .
I shall be happy to answer if you have any further query.
