Recently, about once a month, my 6 year old son spikes a high fever. The only other symptom is a headache. Once I give him an over the counter pain reliever he seems fine. But I have to stay on top of it and the fever usually lasts about 4-days. I have had him tested for strep and it comes back negative. I was told onceit was a virus but it never passes onto his siblings or any other kids he is exposed to.
