Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My Triglycerdies was at 193. I came back from Iraq in Dec and was drinking beer often. I noticed what I was doing and slowed it down to only drinking on the weekends. Now my doc told me that I have a larger than normal ventricle and put me on a STRICT diet.
If you follow the strict diet your doctor have prescribed and exercise regularly, your triglyceride level will decrease. You should restrict alcohol as much as it is possible, don't eat fast food, don't drink soda, try not to eat sweets, fruits and cakes after 4 pm. Restrict the amount of carbohydrates and fat. Don't eat before sleeping
Hope I could help you
Wishing you good health
