Hi I thought I was just getting increased hip pain which would eventually subside with a good couple of days of rest, but now the pain in my right hip / abdomen is getting so bad that I wonder if I have a blockage or air trapped or worse uterine / ovary issues. I am 57. This came about suddenly after doing work from a sitting position. I have not had sex in 17 years and I am not bleeding or feel sick. It s just that the pain is getting so hard to tolerate that I literally want to hold my breath at times. I took to ex-lax 3 hours ago and I hadn t taken that stuff in over 5 years. What do you suggest?
The common causes of abdominal pain are stomach infection, injury or trauma, gastritis, acidity, abdominal disorders, genitourinary disorders, renal stone and many more.
Do you have nausea or loose motion?
Do ultrasound abdomen and pelvis. You can take tablet Norflox Tz, tablet Cyclopam and keep yourself hydrated. Maintain proper hygiene.
I will suggest you to follow up with detailed history or consult with surgeon for detailed examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Shyam B. Kale
