Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
hello, my boyfriend is 25 and has diabetes type 1. he has just been diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the hip and is on medication to help with the pain, he works full time as a care worker and i was told by a friend he could claim disability allowence. also somebody mentioned to me to research carers allowence. we do not have a car and so he walks alot carrying shopping and there is no lift in our block of flats. i am worried it will get worse and it is heriditary in his family as his grandad had a hip replacement at age 35. he has an interest in motorbikes and wants to drive one instead of a car. i am worried if this is a good idea because of the movement you use when riding or if he fell on his right side. thanks, kelly
