Good evening, for two weeks now i ve had hoarness, coughing up dark green, yellow, mucus, coughing alot. sometimes when I cough I fell discomfort in my left shoulder underarm area, and kind of a numming feeling in my left arm. No fever, chills. can this be a sinus infection?
Thanks for asking in healthcaremagic forum By your symptoms you are most likely suffering from laryngeal inflammation associated with upper respiratory tract infection which is causing you hoarseness of voice along with cough and sputum. And discomfort in left shoulder area may be due to cough causing muscle pain. So, please visit your doctor for examination and possible antibiotic prescription. Mean while you can take anti-histaminic, anti-inflammatory drugs with salt water gargling, steam inhalation, plenty of fluids and rest to your voice for relief.
