Suggest Treatment For Hx Endometriosis And Painful Heavy Menstruation
Week late negative test. Started spotting with clear discharge with a little red then bled for 2 days red blood. Then one more day with only red on tiolet paper. Usually regular 28 day period with hx endometriosis and menorragia painful heavy flow with clots. Is this a period or implantation bleeding?
Hi, From your description, this bleeding appears to be a menstrual period. Implantation bleeding is usually not profuse; it is only a slight streak and is a fresh bleed. It can however, continue for several days and may be confused with a natural period. If you suspect pregnancy, you can get an estimation of the serum beta-hCG titres done to clarify. The history of painful heavy bleeding is typical of endometriosis. This can in itself cause some infertility, but not necessarily always. A sonogram can also be helpful for further evaluation. Hope this helps.
