Suggest Treatment For Hyperthyrodism

Iam suffering from hyperthyrodism for the last five months and lost 12 kg weight.now getting neo mercazole tab 5mg one bd dose since last one month.my t3 t4 were 1.67 11.43 tsh .05 which after months dose are1.33 10.3. Tsh .05(same). My weight is remaning struck at the same when treatment started ie.64 kg .doctor has advised to double the dose but the second opinion doctor says to reduce the dose to only 5mg tab one od. What is your opinion please.

Hyperthyroidism can cause loss of weight..You have take anti-thyroid tablets
I suggest to start with a proper dose of 10-30mg/day and slowly taper off accordingly.
The present dose is not enough..

You can decrease the dose once the TSH values start increasing..
You have to take an Thyroid uptake scan
(Tc Uptake)
We can plan the dose according to the uptake.
we have to also make sure that there are no nodules
