Hello, Thank you for asking your question at health care magic
High thyroperoxidase (TPO) antibodies in the context of hyperthyroidism is suggestive of Graves disease. Here the body's own immune system attacks the thyroid.
Graves disease is treated with anti thyroid medications and/or radioactive iodine ablation depending on which is most suited for individual patients. In some countries surgery is preferred over radio active iodine ablation. Graves disease is a treatable condition and is no cause for worry. I recommend you follow up with your doctor.
Hope I was able to help you Please feel free to address any more concerns Regards Dr.Lekshmi
