yes my friend wife has Hypothroid ...Doctor in Florida is only Doctor to remove tumors and take biopsy on four section behind thyroid .........Atena will not pay for procedure ....Calsium is going directly into bloodstream .........any suggestions.......Sorry my spellimg is lousy

Yes,parathyroid tumour mostly a benign one can cause this.Sometimes a thyroid cancer causes this.You need to have her ft4,TSH,s.PTH and calcitonin levels and a Scan to locate parathyroid tumour before going blindly for surgery.
