Suggest Treatment For Hypothyroidism

diagnosed hypothyroid at 20.Completely shut down, was on 400mg synthroid for cpl yrs. Then down to 200mg cpl yrs. Then on 110-125 for at least 10 yrs. Now past 5-6 yrs on 225mg. Have gained excessive weight in past 5 yrs, tired,cold,anxiety,heart palpitations,dry skin,no libido, TTC with no luck, low BBT constantly,sleep 10 hrs & still tired..yet any tests come back normal Endo said with newest dose of 225mg,as i was concerned it a high dose, she says its fine, considering my weight. Im in Canada, so drs & testing readilly available. Being medicated..WHY do i suffer all symptoms as someone thats NOT diagnosed?

Hi, dear
I have gone through your question. I can understand your concern.
You have hypothyroidism. Your symptoms of weight gain, cool extremities, loss of libido, dry skin are due to under treated hypothyroidism.

You need to increase the dosage of synthroid.
But before that you should go for T3, T4 and TSH test. Then set the dosage accordingly.
