Suggest Treatment For Idiopathic Urticaria

I m 41 years old, 117lbs and 4 11 . I ve recently been diagnosed with idiopathic urticaria. The severe itchiness started about 4 months ago. At first, a dermatologist prescribed me Hydrozyzine (for what he thought was eczema) which worked for days with just 1 tablet. i took it for about 1 month and 1/5 but i didn t like the way it made me feel. i came back and asked if i could be tested. I was referred to an allergist who diagnosed me with urticaria and gave me the food allergy test and prescribed me Prednisone which didn t help and afterwards, blood test (ANA?) and for thyroid? Those came back normal and so he recommended allegra in the day and zyrtec at night. i don t like taking medicine, so i was taking allegra (one 180mg every 2-3 days because it did stop the itchiness, but i can still see hives here and there). i went to another dermatologist and she prescribed me 10mg Xyzal. Pharmacy gave me Levocetirizine 5mg and am supposed to take 2. I chose Allegra because it was non-drowsy but Xyzal was supposed to be milder and i thought non-drowsy but I m reading otherwise. So, I m wondering which is best for me in terms of being the mildest and maybe with least side effects. And, is it okay for me to take any these as needed or take only when the wear off? Or are there any other tests i should take to further search for the cause? thank you!
