Suggest Treatment For Inability To Open Mouth And Locked Jaw
My Husband is 46 years old .He use to have Tabacoo - called Gutkha very often since last 10-15 years.Now somehow he stopped taking it but he is not able to open his mouth fully & both jaws are locked.Can it be prestage of Cancer & what is the treatment for this???

hello thanks for consult at hcm..it is called oral submucous fibrosis, which is irreverisible due to fibrosis..it comes under potential malignant disorder,,but dont worry ask him to stop the habit,, u could take antioxidants and surgical treatment options r available,, latest is stem cell therapy,, contact ur oral sugeon asap,,do physiotherapy in the mean time..hope it helps,,tc
