Hello,
Thank you for asking at HCM.
I went through your history and would like to make suggestions for you as follows:
1. H.pylori usually causes
gastritis and
duodenal ulcer, but does not cause
indigestion and
flatulence. Prolong/repeated use of antibiotics can also sometimes cause indigestion and flatulence.
2. As you have already completed your antibiotics, I would suggest you to take probiotics ("good" bacteria, especially
saccharomyces boulardii, lactobacilli, bifidobacteria etc) for 4 weeks.
3. I would also suggest you to have small frequent feeds rather than infrequent large meals.
4. Please eat according to your appetite and avoid overeating.
5. Regular physical activity like walking/running is also helpful for improving digestion.
6. Please avoid foods that are likely to cause flatulence like beans, potato, raw/uncooked vegetables, etc. Please prefer to eat freshly cooked, warm foods.
7. Please try to observe your digestion symptoms and try to correlate them with some particular foods, like milk & dairy products, soy, peanut, etc. If it is specific food intolerance/allergy, I would suggest you to to avoid those foods.
Hope above suggestions will be helpful to you.
Should you have any further query, please feel free to ask at HCM.
Wish you the best of the health ahead.
Thank you & Regards.
