Suggest Treatment For Indigestion With Chest Pain, vomiting And Diarrhea?
Woke up the other night with horrible indigestion pain in chest and ended up throwing up and diarrhea. My heart rate has been higher than normal. The last two days my arms feel cool tingly like I have they are going to sleep. What should I do about this?
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of waking up with horrible indigestion pain in chest and ended up vomiting and diarrhea, raised heart rate, arms feel cool tingly; wants to know what to do... These symptoms are suggestive of severe gastroenteritis with septicemia hence the other symptoms. If there is no fever, it can be gram negative septicemia. I would advise you the following: Rush to ER or nearby hospital. Needs clinical evaluation, examination tests of blood, stool and urine. Have intravenous fluids and antibiotics. Do not try anything at home as it may complicate further.
