Suggest Treatment For Inflammation In The Stomach And Esophagus When In Remission From Stage 4 Lymphoma With Speenamagoly
I have been having stomach inflamation since May. I am taking pantoprozole. I am using the bathroom every day. The doctors have done a ct scan and an upper gi which showed my stomach and esophagus were inflamed. Now we are going to do a ct scan of my abdomin. I have had stage 4 lymphoma with speenamagoly. It is in remission since 2015. I was treated with treanda and ritoxin. I hope this is not more cancer.
There are many possible causes of stomach inflammation, and it's important to follow up with your doctor to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. It's good that you're taking pantoprazole and having regular bowel movements, but further testing may be needed to determine the cause of your inflammation.
While it's natural to be concerned about the possibility of cancer, there are many other conditions that can cause stomach inflammation. Some common causes include infections, food intolerances, and autoimmune diseases. Your doctor may also want to rule out other potential causes, such as ulcers or acid reflux. It's important to discuss your concerns with your doctor, and to follow their recommendations for further testing and treatment. Remember to take care of yourself during this time, and to stay positive.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
