Suggest Treatment For Inflammatory Bowel Disease

I have had WBC of 13.9 and lymphocytes of 8600 for about a year I also had a kidney stone which took 3 surgeries to get rid of a year ago and recently was told by an oncologist/hematologist that I am stage 0 CLL, I also think I may have undiagnosed inflammatory bowel disease, should I seek a second opinion? I am very scared

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

I have read your queries and will be answered by me.

To diagnose inflammatory bowel disease you should be having symptoms of frequent stools daily.

The character and consistency of stool will be more important rather than frequency.

Here, i want to ask some questions like do you have symptoms of mild abdominal pain/discomfort earlier.

Have you undergone any investigations before by your doctor.

So,the important thing is to know the underlying cause of frequent stools, indigestion, dyspepsia whether it is infective or chronic inflammatory.

You must consult gastroenterologist for complete medical history and thoroughly clinical examination with interpretation of your previous reports.

You can also go for gut biopsy to have a confirmed diagnosis.

You should consult or take second opinion regarding diagnosis of IBD.

Regards,
