Hello Doctor, I ve been sick with the flu for the past 3 days and just beginning to get over it. I was coughing, sneezing, a small fever (100.9F), I had body aches, and was miserable. The fevers and body aches are gone, however I still cough here and there and I still have a runny nose. I ve noticed a dull ache/mild pain in my left testicle yesterday. I was laying in bed and a sudden sharp pain came over my testicle but didn t last long, and ever since then there was a dull aching in my left testicle. It is nothing unbearable, and I am not too worried about it. However, I wanted to know what you think it could be and if you think I need evaluation. My parents tell me that it is most likely from my flu, as coughing can lead to the testicles aching. Do you believe that this is a possibility? Thank you.
