Hello. I went through your question and understand your concern. There are a few points which have to be kept in mind regarding ingrowing hair: 1. Tight clothing precipitates this condition. 2. Waxing or close shaving causes hair to grow in awkward direction hence Leading to this condition. If i were your treating physician I would have done a pus culture and sensitivity for the boil and treated with an appropriate antibiotic and asked you to trim the hair and not shave it so that some length of the hair is above the surface of skin. Presently I would advice you to visit your dermatologist for the investigation and also start on diclofenac tablets for immidiate pain releif.I hope I was able to answer your query. If the are any more queries, kindly feel free to ask. Wishing you the best of health.
