Suggest Treatment For Injured Ankles

So I injured my ankle a while ago. Went in for X-ray doc found pretty good sized bone chip, and he s concerned I ve ruptured my Achilles tendon, Mri is not scheduled till Friday but tonight my ankle popped and is hurting very much, I do have some bruising from my injury but it s killing me. Not sure on what I should do

Hi,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you have a chip fracture. You and your doctor concerned about ruptured your Achilles tendon. It can be very well diagnosed by clinical examination.Your MRI is already scheduled till Friday. It will be more clear after MRI. Its treatment is by operation,Tendo Achilles repair. For pain relief you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen. Vitamin B and C are helpful in recovering.You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.
