Suggest Treatment For Injury And Bruise In The Hip Area

I backed into bronze post coming down off ladder at work and my left hip/buttock somewhat at location where the femoral bone attaches to pelic asatabulum on side/posterior is badly bruised and swollen is there any damage that can happen in that area or is it just so much fatty tissue is hemmoraging so it is spectacular looking? should i see my doctor?

Hello,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got injury to your left buttock and you got hematoma. If you has no fever, then no need to worry much. Hematoma gradually resolved by itself. Thrombophob gel local application three times a day over it(no rubbing) can help in resolving it. If Sometimes haematoma does not resolve by themselves. If it takes more than 2 weeks time and fluid like,in these cases aspiration with wide bore needle is done to suck the collected blood under aseptic condition for which you need to visit doctor .
