Suggest Treatment For Internal Bruises And Pain Due To Fall

Hi Doc. I am 35 weeks pregnant. I had a bad fall in the washroom day before yesterday and fell split my legs straight on my genital part. No leakage or blood spotting. But got internal bruises so have a bad pain on the nerves and bone over abd next to genital part. Have visited the doctor who mentioned can take crocin for pain relief and sonography reports look normal. I was as it is suffering pelvic pressure pain due to short cervix and now the pains have added more due to the fall. How long does it take to heal and if there are any natural remedies to avoid medicines as I want the baby to be safe at this crucial stage.

Hello,
In my opinion crocin in therapeutic doses is not teratogenic. If I were your treating doctor I would advise painkiller for just 3 days. I would also recommend you to do pregnancy exercises for the short cervix.
Hope I have answered all your queries. If you have any further questions I would be happy to help.
