Suggest Treatment For Irrational Fear Of Epley Manouver

Hi, I have bbpv, and have had it for four years. I now have an irrational fear of the epley manouver, and as soon as I move my head backwards I trigger the spinning. Have patients ever been knocked prior to having the procedure conducted. I am 38 years of age and have become a shut in, as I am terrified of the spinning.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

Few people may get fear of epleys manouver. In this cases it better to treat with cause that triggers vertigo. Treatment by vestibular sedative then epleys manouver some how works but treating the cause is important. Please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
