Hi,I am Dr. Prabhakar Koregol (Cardiologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
well last night i smoked weed, now today my heart beat is beating weirdly, i smoked it around 3 this morning. It is now 12pm the next day. It will beat then will have an extra fast irregular beat in between some. I'm super scared and refuse to go to the doctors.I dont know if its dangerous but the pulses in my neck and wrist are normal but my heart beat is quite fast but im not sure if that the irregular beat is the pulse in my fingers. my heart beats super fast anyway its normal but im worried.
Most of the weeds are arrhythmogenic to heart and the symptoms which are having are most likely because of the weed smoke inhalation. By getting scared problem will not get solved and you have to visit an ER as ECG is required to understand whether this fast rate is a simple tachycardia or some irregular rhythm that is going on. Visit ER asap.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhanu Partap, Cardiologist
