Hello,
I can understand your concern. It is true that
indigestion and irregular bowel movements can cause mouth ulcers and pimples on face and as soon as you have regular bowel movement, the ulcer and pimples decrease indicates the same problem in your case.
You can try taking laxatives like Looz to have regular bowel movements. In addition, you can use
Digene syrup to aid in digestion. You can take it 10 ml 2-3 times a day specially after meals and before bedtime.
In addition, you should keep 2-3 hours of gap between dinner and bedtime. Sometimes patients are intolerant of green chillies in their diet and that causes
hyperacidity. You can avoid that food item or can use an
antacid to control the burning stomach.
In addition, when you develop mouth ulcers, you can apply local
Benzocaine gel (Mucopain) over the ulcerated area that can help in reduction of burning of the ulcer and promote faster healing. You should increase your fiber and water intake, too.
I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HCM. I wish you feel better soon.
Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
