hello dr,am yamini gopinath from trichy got married in 20 now am 22.am having irregular periods from trichy last 6 yrs i weny to al doctors they said its not a problem but i feel unconfortable last yr i was pregnant due to sum reasons i aboted that baby..........is that i hav to check regularly r i hav to take medicines r dr consultation my height 5.1 and my wgt 45 all doctors r giving 21 tablets like diane but the next month without tablet periods r not cuming wat to do
Hi, After going through your history, it looks like you need proper investigation before any further treatment is given. It is obvious that you have natural ovulation as evidenced by the fact that you had a natural pregnancy. It remains to be seen why you do not have regular release of the ovum. A complete hormone profile that includes serum FSH, LH, Thyroid profile, serum Prolactin, estrogen and progesterone, AMH, trans-vaginal sonogram, glucose tolerance test, serum DHEAS levels are to be done apart from regular blood counts and urinalysis to exclude any general infections. Any hormonal imbalance can thus be corrected by supplements. Please maintain a healthy BMI and do regular exercise. Hope this helps.
