Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I already just wrote it but it seems I already have a profile here. I just got ischemic colitis and was in the hospital and since they don t think of anything else they are blaming adderall which I have been taking same amt 60mg for 15 yrs except for vacations and weekends, with the same podcast. My PCP said straterra might be a better choice, I know I was on it at one time but don t remember. I have to go back to work on the 12th and I am so scattered and thr manager hates me
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted that your have been diagnosed as ischemic colitis, and the Doctor think that this may be due to Adderall that you have been taking for 15 years. Colonoscopy and biopsy will give the possible cause as well as the CT angiography of the small and large intestine about any arterial problems. You have to take proper treatment if you have any problems with foods and the beverages that you might have noticed. The proper treatment depends upon the proper diagnosis hence the necessity of it.You may please change over to another medicines as advised by your PCP and see the changes otherwise everything can be adjusted as per your experience about foods and beverages.
