Hi there about one moth ago I had a one time bout of ischemic colitis. My day was great 2 power walks out and about went to dinner no symptoms at all . Then just bam came on me . My lab results said my ferritn levels were high at 172. could this be from the inflammation in the colon? and is that a high number to worry about? Thank you. Oh I am a 58 yr old female. thanks Debra
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, ideally the lab report needs to be correlate with the clinical condition that you have else It may not be due to what you are thinking, if you do not have any symptoms then why to worry about this, next for what the test being done it could be the matter of concern,, it is not due to the inflammatory condition that you have of intestine, hope this information helps.
