My 20 year old daughter started itching in The middle of her sisters graduation ceremony. It has spread as splotchy red whelps on her neck, breasts, torso, and lower waist. Some of them look like bug bites. Others look like giant red lines. Any thoughts?
It seems to me like your daughter might have had two possibilities. One, as you said there could have been bug or any insect bites which is usually common when a new dress is worn or when in a crowd. Second, she could have had an acute allergy to something she came in contact to or sometimes even food.
I advise you to have a thorough check on any contact allergy or invisible insects. If you find none, a course of antihistaminic tablet would still help her with itching and rashes.
Hope I have addressed your concern.
Wish you good health.
