Suggest Treatment For Itching Dry Flaky Areola

My right areola is itchy, dry, a little flaky, and has a small red-ish spot (about the size of a penny) that is especially irritated. I ve been using a moisturizing cream for a few days (Cetaphil) and it seems to have helped a bit. Should I be worried? Is there anything more I can do to make it go away?

You can continue using that moisturizer but can also apply a lactocalamine lotion.
