I m 14 and I have been experiencing really itchy testicles. It started with just a small itch and then I noticed really small skin coloured bumps on the scrotum, and at the bottom of my shaft. Then, a week later, I am noticing flaking and extreme itchiness that will hold me from sleeping. I do not want to see a doctor or talk to anyone about this because it s obviously extremely embarrassing, and it s much easier to do this semi anonymously. I have access to purchase cremes and medicine on my own as well. Thank you and hopefully you can help.
Hi I am Dr Fahim, and I will help you with your problem
I have gone through your question. It appears to dermatitis of scrotal and penile shaft. Hot humid environment and thin, elastic skin of this region make it more prone to such type of condition. The chief complains sre itching, redness, scaling etc. Moreover, tight clothing and wearing under wear, which may induce contact dermatitis. Coming to treatment, If a such patient walks into my clinic I advise him to wear loose clothes, prescribe antihistamine and local steroid ointment. Most of the case gets better in few days. Patient with more severe dermatitis needs further treatment in consultation with dermatologist.
I hope my answer will help you. Do rate it, If you like it Regards
