Welcome to HealthCare Magic. Thank you for posting your query.
I can understand your concern.
I have gone through the entire post. I can understand that you are a bit anxious about the high
bilirubin and high SGPT levels.
It would have been great had I examined you on my own.
Yes the bilirubin and SGPT values are high but it is important to know the exact cause of this.
It can be due to
hepatitis ,
gallstone disease(
cholecystitis) , or a gallstone slipping into the bile duct ( choledocolithiasis) .
It is the conjugated bilirubin which is probably causing itching.
I would suggest you to
-     Drink loads of water
-     Avoid oily,spicy food
-     Have a diet rich in fibres
-     I would start tablet
Pantoprazole . Your doctor can guide on the exact dosage
- Get a blood
haemoglobin , total count ,
ESR done
- Get a MRCP (Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography)done to look at the biliary tree.
I would also suggest you to visit a gastroenterologist. . He/she can examine you and correlate clinically.
Hope this answers your question. If you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
