Suggest Treatment For Itching Scabs On My Neck

Hi, I have had a random scab on my neck, that has been itching for 4 days now and also just got 2 tiny ones on the right side of my face (one higher close to my sideburns and one lower), and a swollen right eye with a little scab on the corner. What could this be? I am going to make an appointment to see a GP soon but until then, I want to have an idea of the problem.

Hello,

As per your case history, you have a polymorphic light eruption. My treatment advice is -
1. Avoid sun exposure and use a good sunscreen lotion with SPF more than 30.
2. Apply a mild topical steroid cream like mometasone cream on the lesions twice daily.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral vitamin c, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
